It's baking day again at the local history museum. The traditional wood-fired oven is fired up and the museum team bakes puura bread, milled bread, plaited bread, nut croissants, sweet corn rolls and fruit tarts. These are available for sale from 9 am. If you have your own baked goods such as bread and plaited loaves, you can put them in the wood-fired oven between 8 and 10 am. There is a small charge for this. Dough is available for children to bake snake bread and rolls for free.
