Spital Davos AG offers regular guests and second home owners who require regular medical care in Davos in addition to their family doctor at their permanent place of residence in Switzerland the option of a consultation with Dr Daniel Ribeiro, Head of Internal Medicine, during their holidays if required. Broad surgical and orthopaedic expertise
The Surgery and Orthopaedics Department at Davos Hospital is headed by Dr. med. Hans-Curd Frei, who has broad expertise in the treatment of acute trauma. His team also regularly performs elective surgeries on shoulder, knee and hip joints, for which Dr. Hans-Curd Frei can count on a second head surgeon specialized in orthopaedics as well as two experienced senior surgeons. Minimally invasive, modern surgical methods, gentle anaesthesia procedures, careful planning and short-term availabilities allow for short hospital stays and a quick return to everyday life. The wards are supplemented by the rescue and emergency service (alarm call tel. 144), consultation appointments, external services supplied by the hospital SPITEX and a day clinic. Davos hospital also offers a holiday dialysis service to kidney patients. The specialist department for sports medicine takes care of high performance and amateur sports enthusiasts by offering diagnostics and support with training measures.

You are a dialysis patient and would like to spend your holidays in Davos? Davos hospital has five dialysis stations with state-of-the-art FRESENIUS 5008/4008 dialysis machines. The Davos Hospital usually treats dialysis patients three times a week in the mornings and afternoons. The dialysis team offers individual care and flexible dialysis appointments. By the way, the bus stop (bus line 1) is directly in front of Davos Hospital.
