Arrival from Germany
In the comfortable ICE trains of German Railways (DB), travellers enjoy direct and quick connections to many Swiss cities. Berne, Thun, Interlaken, Zurich and Chur are served over the Rhine Rail via Basel. In classic InterCity and EuroCity trains, guests reach Zurich from Munich, Stuttgart or Hamburg without having to change trains.
Car
Davos Klosters lies at the heart of Grisons in east Switzerland. If you are arriving by car, take the motorway in the direction of Chur and then take the Landquart exit heading for Davos. During the journey you will be put in the mood for your holiday by the fantastic mountain landscape. In the winter, heavy snowfalls may make snow chains essential from Klosters (unless arriving by all-wheel vehicle). For electric vehicles there are various stations.
Swiss motorways
From Zurich, take the A3/A13 motorway (follow the green signs) towards Chur until reaching Landquart. From Landquart continue on canton road 28 to Davos Klosters. Note that you will need a motorway vignette (CHF 40.00) for motorways in Switzerland. This is available at all border controls, petrol stations and post offices. Public Parking
If you are arriving by car, you have a choice of various paid parking spaces in Davos Klosters. Please note that a general night parking ban applies in winter. This applies to all car parks that do not have a 24-hour parking fee and is valid from 1 November to 30 April from 3 am to 7 am.
