In Davos Klosters, the most beautiful motorcycle rides start practically right outside the hotel door. A ride over the Flüela Pass is almost a must. Many people love this route because it is very smooth to ride. And with good reason: the 17 bends up include all kinds of turns: from tight hairpin bends to very long, drawn-out curves.
Highlight from the Wägerhus to the top of the pass
The Flüela Pass is particularly easy to ride on a motorbike. A favourite section for many motorcyclists leads from the Wägerhus car park up to the top of the pass at almost 2400 metres. The combination of curves is impressive - and will put a big grin on your face. Tip: If you don't have heated grips, you should definitely take a pair of thick motorbike gloves with you.
Tip for a break at the Gran Tour photo point
Another highlight of the Flüela Pass is the panoramic view. And there are more than enough of these on this motorcycle route. No wonder: there are plateaus, a few straights and with few trees, you can always see further than the next bend. The place by the Gran Tour sign with a bench and barbecue area is a good place to take a break. It is usually quieter here than at the top of the pass.
