“Panorama Awards 2023/24”: Weissfluhjoch among the top 5

Feratel held an online vote to find the most beautiful panorama in Switzerland and Austria. The webcam on the Weissfluhjoch in Davos came in 4th place, with over 10,000 panorama fans from all over the world taking part in the vote.

The online voting for the sixth “Panorama Award Austria” and second “Panorama Award Switzerland” ended in mid-April. 10,507 users cast 22,592 votes for 252 camera locations from the Feratel Panorama network. Of these, 5,648 votes each went to the Austrian categories “Winter fairy tale”, “Summer paradise” and “High-flyer” and 4,859 votes went to the national category “Switzerland”.  In the latter category, the webcam on the Weissfluhjoch in the Parsenn ski area secured fourth place, ahead of the Fronalpstock. The winner was Scuol, followed by Saas Fee and the Gornergrat in Zermatt.

Webcams have become indispensable in tourism. They not only inform guests about the current weather and snow conditions, but also provide a panoramic view of a destination. They achieved over 800,000 page views in the last financial year – making them the most visited page on davos.ch and klosters.ch.
