Virtual information desks with personal guest advisory service

The Davos Klosters destination is expanding its guest advisory service. With two virtual information desks. Guests receive personal video advice at the railway station in Davos Dorf and in the UBS building in Davos Platz.

The Davos Klosters destination has recently installed a virtual guest advisory service at Davos Dorf railway station and at the UBS branch in Davos Platz. The centrepiece is a touchscreen display. When a guest touches the screen, someone from the tourism office answers - and thus starts the competent advice via video, as you would normally find on site in a classic information office. Guests can also find more information in the brochures.

New approach with decentralized guest advisory service

The advice thus comes to the guests. Directly at frequently frequented places where they spend their time. The idea behind this was developed within the framework of the 'Tourist Office Lab', an association of over 20 tourism destinations in Switzerland. As a holiday and congress resort, Davos is very extensive and the need for personal guest information is therefore still very much in demand.

Chatbot Bea helps around the clock

The Davos Klosters destination has a digital helper on the job. Chatbot Bea provides guests with information, even outside normal office hours. Bea is constantly learning.

"Hi, I'm Bea!" This is how chatbot Bea greets you when you click on the corresponding icon at the bottom of the screen on davos.ch or klosters.ch. The digital helper answers questions on the topics of "weather", "events", "open pistes and lifts" or helps with booking accommodation in hotels and holiday flats. Bea can also handle small talk and questions about "live cams" and so-called "points of interest".

Employees help when Bea doesn't know what to do

Guests receive a quick and uncomplicated answer - even outside normal office hours. Good to know: If Bea does not find an answer, there is the option "Helpdesk". Bea is then automatically deactivated - and Davos Klosters employees answer the question.
