In Davos Klosters, children learn to ski and snowboard in a playful way in children's areas, on magic carpets, and at valley lifts with easy slopes. Klosters' local mountain, Madrisa, is particularly family-friendly: its children's snow parks offer a special practice area complete with snow bikes. At Rinerhorn, numerous blue runs and the Enchanted Forest with its waves and small jumps provide extra fun. Davos also offers practice areas at Bolgen and Bünda, featuring a fun slope and a Magic Park. In Klosters, Snowgarden, Selfranga (including a pony lift), and the Mottalift Serneus round out the offerings.
From the end of December, cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find ideal skill parks for beginners in Davos and Klosters. At the Nordic Park Davos, located at the Dario Cologna Cross-Country Skiing Center, children and adults can improve their technique at twelve free stations. Slalom poles, small jumps, and banked turns promote balance, coordination, and safe cornering. In Klosters, a fun course awaits at the Bündelti schoolhouse, featuring a slalom course, banked turns, and a mogul track. A particular highlight is the "Alpes Cermis" climb.
