Children's ski paradise

For children who are skiing or snowboarding for the first time. Flat terrain, magic carpets and playful practice opportunities make it easy to get started.

At the foot of the Jakobshorn, Bolgen offers a practice area for first attempts at skiing and snowboarding. In the "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village" and the "Swiss Snow Playground," children playfully learn to glide, balance, and brake.

At Bünda, families will find a clearly laid-out practice area with gentle slopes. In addition to the public magic carpet lift, the Swiss Ski School Davos offers a ski kindergarten, further practice lifts, and courses for different skill levels.

Directly opposite the sports center in Klosters is the Snowgarden of the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School. Two magic carpets, a ski carousel, and various learning aids support the youngest children in their first attempts on skis or snowboards. Accompanying adults can watch from the spectator area.

Can you already brake and make your first turns? At the practice lifts, children can master longer descents and become more confident step by step.

At Bolgen, children can practice their first turns on various slopes. The beginner slope by the Carjöl 2-seater chairlift is suitable for longer runs. The Geissloch lift offers two exits, allowing practice at different difficulty levels.

The T-bar lift on Bünda offers two exit points and provides access to clearly laid-out slopes for different skill levels. On the fun slope with its rollers and dips, as well as in the Magic Park, children can playfully improve their skiing technique. Further information is available from the Swiss Ski School Davos.

Near the village, Selfranga offers practice opportunities for different skill levels with a pony ride and a ski lift. More confident skiers will find longer runs at the ski lift. Night skiing is also possible when conditions are right: Tuesdays at the ski lift from 7 pm to 9 pm and Fridays at the pony lift from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The Selfranga teahouse is available for a break.

The Mottalift, a cable car approximately 360 meters long, is located in the heart of Serneus. With its easy slope, it's particularly suitable for children and those learning how to use a lift. It has been a part of village life for over 50 years.

Located right in the village, the Wiesen practice lift offers ideal conditions for taking your first turns. The clearly laid-out terrain is particularly suitable for children and anyone wanting to learn to ski. The lift is operated by the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Wiesen, who will be happy to provide you with further information.

Those who are already skiing independently on easy slopes will find more variety here: family-friendly ski resorts, playful elements and slopes for the next step.

Wide, predominantly blue and red slopes make the Rinerhorn a popular ski area for families. Children can practice on an easy slope at the trainer lift. Right next to it, the Enchanted Forest awaits with small jumps, moguls, and an adventure area themed around witches. Night skiing and night sledding are also available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 pm to 10:30 pm.

On the Kids Slope at Bolgen, Flurin the Snow Dragon and his friends accompany children through a varied course. Slalom, moguls, and playful obstacles make the descent an adventure. The slope is suitable for children who can already ski independently on easy slopes.
