Madrisa has specialised in the needs of families. In the children's snow parks of Madrisa-Land and Madrisa-Park Klosters there is a special practice area. Three magic carpets transport the little ski bunnies to the top. And with a snowbike (available at Intersport at the mountain station), they can go down the slope sitting with their skis strapped on - ideal for skiing beginners.
Especially ski beginners and families and pleasure skiers feel at home on the mainly blue and red slopes at the Rinerhorn. What's more, here the bow at the ski lift is usually still handed personally. Children love the enchanted forest. Here witches are up to their mischief and provide fun in the snow with small bumps and jumps.
In winter, covered conveyor belts run in the ski practice areas at Bolgen and on Bünda to transport the little ones up the slope. The two "magic carpets" are available free of charge for guests and locals from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Adults may also use the magic carpets.
Speaking of Bolgen at the foot of the Jakobshorn: here you will find the Kids Slope Home of Winter. This slope combines a classic obstacle course including a slalom run and bumps with an adventure show featuring the snow dragon Flurin and his friends. Ideal for children who are already independent on easy slopes. The highlight is a handshake in the shape of a snow dragon that lets out a whoop when it comes into contact with your hand. There is also a large figure of the dragon Flurin at the Carjöler lift hut. A suitable subject for the family photo book
On the Bolgenhang in Davos Platz stands the first t-bar ski lift in the world - the Bolgen lift constructed in 1934. It is 344 metres long and requires a journey time of 2 min. On Bolgen one also finds the practice area for the Swiss snow sports school in Davos and the Top Secret ski school with the children's ski schools. Children from 3 years are playfully familiarised with skis in the ski kindergarten "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village". The "Swiss Snow Playground" : Like on a playground, children playfully take their first steps on snow. They learn how to glide, balance and slide on skis or snowboard. Tip: Also suitable for adult ski beginners.
Right next to the lift is the twin chairlift Carjöl. The first section provides access to a beginner piste, ideal for the first winter sports experiences and for beginners, who prefer chairlifts to t-bar ski lifts.
The Bünda area in Davos Dorf is also home to a further practice section for the Swiss snow sports school in Davos, complete with practice lift, ski courses for beginners and advanced skiers, as well as the ski kindergarten "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village" for children from 3 years.
This is where the smallest become the biggest. A modern infrastructure, tailored to the needs of the smallest, makes starting out with snow sports so much easier.
