Madrisa

Madrisa has specialized in the needs of families. There is a special practice area in the children's snow parks in Madrisa Land and in the Madrisa Park Klosters. Three magic carpets carry the little ski bunnies up to the top. And with a snow bike (available from Intersport at the mountain station), you can ride down the slopes sitting down with your skis strapped on - ideal for beginners.

Rinerhorn

Beginners, families and leisure skiers in particular feel very much at home on the predominantly blue and red slopes on the Rinerhorn. In addition, the ski lift bar is usually handed out personally. Children love the magic forest. Witches are up to mischief there and provide fun in the snow with small bumps and jumps.

Magic carpets on Bolgen and Bünda

In winter, covered conveyor belts run in the ski practice areas on Bolgen and Bünda to transport the little ones up the slope. The two "magic carpets" are available free of charge to guests and locals from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adults can also use the magic carpets.

Tip: Kids Slope Home of Winter at Bolgen

Speaking of Bolgen at the foot of the Jakobshorn: here you will find the Kids Slope Home of Winter. This slope combines a classic obstacle course including a slalom run and bumps with an adventure show featuring the snow dragon Flurin and his friends. Ideal for children who are already independent on easy slopes. The highlight is a handshake in the shape of a snow dragon that lets out a whoop when it comes into contact with your hand. There is also a large figure of the dragon Flurin at the Carjöler lift hut. A suitable subject for the family photo book.

Valley lifts Davos

Bolgen

On the Bolgen slope in Davos Platz stands the world's first T-bar ski lift – the Bolgen Lift, built in 1934. It is 344 meters long, and the ride from bottom to top takes 2 minutes. Bolgen is also home to the practice area of the Swiss Snow Sports School Davos and the Top Secret Ski School, which offers children's ski schools. Children from the age of 3 are playfully introduced to skiing in the "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village" ski kindergarten. "Swiss Snow Playground": Just like on a playground, children playfully take their first steps on snow. They learn to glide, balance, and slide on skis or a snowboard. Tip: Also suitable for adult beginners.

2-seater chairlift Carjöl

Right next to it is the Carjöl 2-seater chairlift. The first section offers a beginner slope for first winter sports experiences and is ideal for those who prefer chairlifts to T-bar lifts.

Geissloch

To the left of Bolgen Plaza is the Geissloch lift, which offers direct access to the steep Bolgen race slopes, but with its two exit options also provides an ideal practice area for skiers and snowboarders, both for beginners and advanced skiers.

Bünda

The Bünda area in Davos Dorf is home to a self-contained family ski resort with the longest T-bar lift in the valley, which offers two exits to easily accessible slopes. Beginners and advanced skiers alike will find varied conditions tailored to their abilities on the slopes, on the fun Fun Slope with its large wave-shaped track, or in the Magic Parc. Combined with the public magic carpet and located directly next to the cross-country ski trail, it's the ideal place for adults and children alike. The large practice area of the Swiss Snow Sports School Davos with additional practice lifts, ski courses for beginners and advanced skiers, and the "Snowli Swiss Snow Kids Village" ski kindergarten for children ages 3 and up round out the family-friendly Bünda experience.

Wiesen practice lift

For the younger holiday guests in Wiesen, there is a small but nice practice lift right in the village, which is operated by the Wiesen ski school.
