Best nightlife in the Swiss Alps

Davos Klosters is known as the party capital of the Alps. The Jatzhütte and the Bolgen Plaza, as well as Gaudy’s Graströchni, are the main après-ski hotspots and are located directly on the slopes. Visit a game of the famous Hockey Club Davos

Visit the famous Kirchner Museum

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner lived in Davos from 1918 until his death. His comprehensive work was pioneering for German Expressionism. The Kirchner Museum Davos opened in 1992 and boasts the largest collection of his works in the world. The museum building was designed by Zurich architects Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer and, with its plain and logical form, is highly esteemed in international architectural circles.

Directions

Davos Klosters lies right in the very heart of the canton of Grisons. It can be reached by car in just under two hours from Zurich. The journey takes a good 30 to 45 minutes from the Landquart motorway exit (A13/E43). 

Take the train if you prefer to travel in a more relaxed fashion and savour the magnificent landscape in comfort: take an SBB train to Landquart and then transfer to the Rhaetian Railways (RhB).  

The «Davos Express» runs a direct bus link (every Saturday) between December and April from / to Davos Klosters to / from Zurich Airport (ZRH)
