Après-ski to clubbing

Bar Stall Valär Night Life Tipps Davos

More than just nightlife – Davos Klosters lives from early morning until late at night.

Davos Klosters impresses with a diverse nightlife culture: from lively bars and sunny terraces to cozy pubs with views and a vibrant nightlife – often all within easy walking distance.

The fun in Davos Klosters often starts during the day – especially in winter on sun terraces and in snow bars right in the heart of the ski area. A classic is the Jatzhütte on the Jakobshorn. The fun continues seamlessly in the valley: for example, at Bolgen Plaza, where après-ski meets a relaxed atmosphere. As soon as the sun sets, guests disperse to bars, lounges, and restaurants with panoramic views – from lively to cozy. For exuberant evenings, venues like Chalet Bello or the Tijuana Bar are ideal, while places like Stall Valär offer a more laid-back atmosphere. And with cult status, the Bolgenschanze is also a must – one of the most famous snowboard bars in Switzerland.

Live music at the Hard Rock Hotel Davos

If you prefer live music, you should stop by the Hard Rock Hotel Davos every Friday: During the Friday Night Live Music Sessions, national and international music stars and newcomers perform. Collectibles from famous show stars on the walls, such as a silk shirt from Elvis Presley or musical instruments from Bruce Springsteen and George Harrison, create the right atmosphere.

Live music events in a club atmosphere

Speaking of live music: In the Platzhirsch Club Davos, well-known artists perform live at theme parties from 10 p.m. onwards. 90s pop stars such as "Rednex" with their hit song "Cotten Eye Joe" or "Mr. President" with his hit "Coco Jambo" are revived here. But also current après-ski heroes such as "Lorenz Büffel" with his party song "Johnny Däpp" or Peter Wackel, who became famous with "Mallorca ist nur einmal a Jahr". In addition, the well-known "MTV Hauptstadt. Club-Veranstaltungen" with international DJs take place here every month.

Our après-ski tips

Après-ski is an essential part of a perfect day on the slopes or in the snow. Whether you're young and wild or prefer a more sophisticated and cozy atmosphere, Davos and Klosters have something for everyone. Here are the best places to find it.

It's all about Après-Ski

  • 01

    Jatzhütte

Its unique location on the Jakobshorn and the numerous events it hosts have made the Jatzhütte famous far beyond Davos. It's situated right on the ski slope, but can also be reached on foot from the Jakobshorn mountain station in about ten minutes. From the sun terrace, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Sertig Valley and the surrounding mountains. The atmosphere at the Jatzhütte is relaxed and lively; on weekends, the party often starts as early as noon. The sun loungers and the "Kafi Sex," a coffee with Baileys, are particularly popular. From November to April, various parties are on the program, with musical styles ranging from German pop to electronic music. The hut closes at 4:30 p.m., except during events.

    Fuxägufer

For those who prefer a sophisticated après-ski, Fuxägufer is the place to be. It's a meeting point for the rich and famous – as well as all other winter guests. This rustic mountain lodge with its magnificent views is located right on the slopes. Pedestrians can reach it directly from Bolgen via the Carjöler chairlift.

DJs spin house music from Thursday to Sunday. The multi-level terrace and the lodge itself feature a large bar, a popular gathering spot before the last run down to the valley. Fuxägufer is open until 5 pm.

    Bolgen Plaza

The music and the lively atmosphere can already be heard on the final slope of the valley run – after a day on the Jakobshorn, a stop at Bolgen is a must. The terrace is always packed, with a diverse crowd. Young and old alike enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the late afternoon, especially in spring when the days get longer. If it gets chilly outside or the weather turns bad, everyone heads indoors.

The Bolgen Plaza restaurant offers plenty of space on two floors: downstairs it's cozy, while upstairs a DJ spins popular après-ski hits. Bolgen closes at 7 pm. Partygoers then head off to the nearby après-ski club, Chalet Bello.

    Graströchni

The Graströchni is impossible to miss: anyone who takes off their skis or snowboard at the end of the run down to Klosters is already in the middle of the party. Beers are raised to après-ski hits, and the bar is especially popular with ski instructors. Nobody comes here for the view – but for the legendary "Fressbecher": a waffle cone filled with schnapps and topped with whipped cream. The Graströchni is open until 10 pm.

    Kanonen Bar

Kanonenbar Klosters bei der Talabfahrt Madrisa Après Ski

In the wooden chalet at the bottom of the Madrisa valley run, a friendly and efficient team takes care of its guests. The clientele is a diverse mix: après-ski really gets going from 3 pm, but you can already grab a seat at lunchtime and enjoy what is arguably the best schnitzel sandwich in Klosters. The Kanonen Bar closes at 7 pm.
