The new trend sport Discgolf is a mixture of golf and Frisbee. The aim is to hit one of the baskets from a fixed tee with as few throws as possible. At Tschuggen in the Flüela Valley in Davos, there is a course with 18 baskets with different levels of difficulty.
Frisbee instead of ball and metal basket instead of hole: Discgolf is almost a bit like golf in concept. Players try to get the disc into the metal basket with as few throws as possible.
Alone or in a group, you run through a course with 18 lanes at Tschuggen in Davos. From the drop point, you throw a Frisbee towards the basket. Wherever the disc lands, the next throw is played. The courses here on the Flüela Pass are between 24 and 140 metres long. Baskets one to nine are designed for beginners and children. From the tenth basket onwards, the level of difficulty increases.
Discgolf is a sport that is quick to learn and can be played with a manageable amount of effort. It's no wonder that this new trend sport is also very popular with families. A starter set of three discs is available from specialist retailers for just 40 francs. Guests and locals can register on the Discgolf Davos website or book the experience through the summer guest program.
After making your online reservation on the Discgolf Davos website, you will receive a code for the wooden locker at the Flüela Pass where the equipment is located. A deposit of 30 francs per person is charged. If you book the experience through our guest program, a professional will be on site. He will instruct guests on the game, show them tricks and give them helpful tips.
