2025 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of German author Thomas Mann. In honor of the Nobel Prize winner, Davos 2025 will be the stage for a unique cultural year. Numerous events, such as interactive tours, time travel with VR headsets, and readings from his books, will honor the life and work of the world-famous author.

Today, Wednesday, representatives from the Davos Klosters region as well as from technology and research signed the joint declaration to hold a new conference: The 'Alpine Tech Summit' focuses on the topic of artificial intelligence and its practical implementation.

On Saturday, the traditional British-Swiss Parliamentary Ski Race took place in the Parsenn ski area. Marc Jost and Barbara Schaffner won the giant slalom. The ski race marked the end of the 69th Parliamentary Ski Week in Davos.

Thanks to excellent piste conditions, the Destination Davos Klosters has made a successful start to the ski season. Around 10,000 visitors made their first turns on Parsenn from Thursday to Sunday. More lifts will open soon. And the cross-country ski trails are also already open.
