With «Après Nordic», cross-country skiing in Davos Klosters takes on a new, contemporary dimension: On the Alp Garfiun, cross-country skiers can meet after their run, enjoy a drink together, and relax at the end of the day. The concept originated in Davos and is also implemented there at the cross-country skiing center.
Down jackets are available for rent to provide added comfort – a simple yet effective idea, as many cross-country skiers tend to wear light clothing. This makes lingering pleasant even in cooler temperatures.
Another incentive: Guests of cross-country skiing hotels receive a five-franc token that can be redeemed for a drink at the après-Nordic locations – both in Klosters and at the Davos cross-country skiing center.
The concept demonstrates how cross-country skiing can be presented in a modern way – while simultaneously creating places where people want to stay a little longer.
