The Parsenn cable car from Davos Dorf to the Weissfluhjoch will be closed in summer 2025 due to extensive renovation work. Accordingly, the mountain restaurants Höhenweg, Weissfluhjoch, and Weissfluhgipfel will also be closed.
Alternative route: Bahnentour The Bahnentour is considered a biking highlight in Davos, as it includes up to 10,000 meters of downhill elevation gain depending on the combination. Due to the renovation work, the classic Bahnentour cannot be completed in its usual format this year. Those who still want to shred as many downhill elevation gains and diverse trails as possible can explore the new Bahnentour 2025 with 100 kilometers of trail fun. Season start of the other mountain railways in stages The Schatzalpbahn with chairlift to Strelaberg starts operating on May 24, the Jakobshorn on June 7, with the first section already in operation on the weekend of May 29 to June 1. The gondola lift to Madrisa will run continuously from June 14, and the first section of the Parsennbahn Klosters will start operating at the same time with weekend operation. The gondolas to the Rinerhorn will be in operation from July 5. The summer season for the mountain railways in Davos Klosters lasts until the end of October. The exact operating times are listed here. The Pischabahn cable car will remain closed as usual during the summer. Please note that Davos Klosters day tickets and season tickets are not valid on the Schatzalpbahn cable car, and there are restrictions regarding bike transport.
