Good news for hikers and bikers: On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the Parsennhüttenbahn cable car will begin weekend operations. Until the end of August, it will operate every half hour on Saturdays and Sundays between the Parsennhütte and the Weissfluhjoch. This will allow day-trippers to explore the Parsenn region on foot or by bike in summer 2025 as well. No mountain lift ticket is needed to access this area.
Due to extensive maintenance work, the Parsennbahn cable car from Davos will be out of service all summer, as will the attached restaurant and the aerial tramway between Weissfluhjoch and the Weissfluhgipfel. The Parsennhüttenbahn cable car now offers an exciting alternative for anyone reaching the Parsenn region via Klosters on the Gotschnabahn (operational start: June 28).
Important to note: The Parsennhüttenhütte will remain closed despite the Parsennhüttenbahn operation. The Gotschnagrat mountain restaurant, however, is open daily throughout the Gotschnabahn summer season.
