Current condition of the summer hiking trails

Zügenschlucht
The hiking trail through the Zügen Gorge will be closed for the winter starting Wednesday, November 12, 2025. From this date onward, no inspections or maintenance work will take place. We ask all hikers and users to refrain from entering the trail from this date and to respect the closure.

Flüela / Snowfarming:
Snow farming work will begin on Thursday, October 23, 2025. The forest road, along which the hiking trail leads toward Flüela, will be covered with artificial snow. Therefore, the path must be closed and rerouted.

Waldalp / Davos:
The hiking trail between the Rinerhorn mountain station and Waldalp was washed away due to persistent heavy rainfall and flooding in the Waldalp forest (Grabatobel). The trail is closed until further notice and can no longer be used.

Ischalpweg/Davos:
The Ischalpweg will be closed from Monday, October 27, until approximately November 28, due to cable crane work during working hours on weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm Please use the detour.

Schluocht - Rufena / Klosters:
Due to logging operations, the "Schluocht Rufena" hiking trail will be completely closed for safety reasons from November 3rd to December 5th, 2025. A detour is available via the hiking trail from "Alp" to "Hennagada". The closed trail and the detour are marked on the map.

Schlappin / Klosters:
The section from, Schwinboden – Fluebrücke will be closed from Monday, September 29, 2025, until the onset of winter, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Because the slope below the Flue Bridge needs to be secured, pedestrians and cyclists are asked to use the Cunweg as a construction detour during the closures.

Madrisa / Klosters:
An alpine solar power plant will be built in the Züg area on Madrisa from 2025 to 2027. Please note that the hiking trail between Alp Albeina and Zügenhüttli will be closed and diverted during the construction period.
