The Health Festival offers a wide selection of courses – from Pilates and aerial yoga to cycle training, ice bathing and meditation, dancing and sailing. The four-day event is rounded out with presentations, workshops and fireside chats on topics such as mental health and nutrition. The Health Days are the perfect opportunity to try something new, deepen existing knowledge and get to know various health providers in the region. The festival collaborates with local partner organizations to offer wellness programmes, from hotels and clinics to fitness coaches and yoga studios.
Tailor-made programme
The courses and offerings at the Health Festival are constantly being expanded. "This ensures that Health Days Davos remains exciting for returning guests as well as locals and those living in Davos for a short time," promises organizer Sabrina Habegger. The programme can be individually tailored, and individual tickets are available for each course. Those who wish can also book day passes, a weekend pass, or a festival pass for the entire duration of the festival, including accommodation and half board. All those attending the festival with a day or multi-day pass are invited to a free welcome aperitif on Thursday evening.
Back to health tourism
Davos owes its international reputation as a tourist destination primarily to its spa facilities. Around 1900, guests from all over the world came to Davos to recover from lung diseases in the high altitude climate. In recent years, the topic of health has regained importance in tourism. "These days, tourism is viewed not only from a medical perspective, but also from a holistic and preventative perspective," says Habegger, explaining the trend. Davos Health offers can be booked not only during the festival, but all year round. This also strengthens the mountain sports paradise as a destination for holistic well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
