After four editions under the name "Rock the Bock," the mountain bike event marking the start of the bike season in Davos Klosters is now simply called "Bike Festival Davos." Despite the new name, mountain bike fans will find tried-and-true at the festival: shredding single trails, educational workshops, creative challenges for young and old, and a bike test area.
Challenges for all ages
The E-MTB Challenge will be a particular highlight, where participants can demonstrate their riding technique, endurance, and battery management in the "Fun" and "Sport" categories. There are also exciting activities for the little ones: a Kids Bike Shuttle will take them to the trails of Davos Klosters, and a course helps improve riding technique in a playful way.
New Seehofsee Challenge: Riding on Water
Another spectacular highlight—also for the audience—is the Seehofsee Challenge, in which participants must ride their mountain bikes over 50cm wide water tanks. Balance, skill, and courage are required here to avoid falling into the water.
Test area and bike flea market
At the expo area by Lake Seehof, visitors can test the latest mountain bikes and equipment from leading brands. A new flea market will be held on Sundays, where everything related to mountain biking can be bought and sold. The sporting offerings are rounded out with culinary delights at the picturesque Seehofsee lake and live concerts starting Friday evening.
