The Rhaetian Railway is continuing to modernize its infrastructure in the region. Extensive construction work will be carried out in 2026 and 2027, making a significant contribution to the long-term quality and efficiency of rail services.
The focus is on the reconstruction of Davos Laret station and numerous other infrastructure projects along the line between Klosters Platz and Davos Platz. These investments will strengthen the region sustainably and ensure even more reliable and comfortable rail services in the future.
Three temporary total closures are necessary to carry out the work:
During these periods, replacement buses will operate between Küblis and Davos Platz (express bus) and between Klosters Platz and Davos Platz (regional service), ensuring continued accessibility.
Some of the work will also be carried out at night – specifically on the nights of August 26/27. April and May 13/14, 2026 – in order to use the construction time efficiently and to make the long-term benefits noticeable as quickly as possible.
