A toboggan race with a difference: On the Flüela Pass road, closed in winter, participants experience a thrilling descent on a route normally reserved for motorized traffic. Fast gliding sections with wide curves wind through the breathtaking winter landscape of Davos Klosters.
The race day begins at the highest point of the Flüela Pass, at the Schottensee parking lot, from where the course descends 444 vertical meters to the finish area at the Gasthaus zum Tschuggen. After crossing the finish line, everyone celebrates together at the after-race party in Davos, followed by the awards ceremony. At Davos Sledgens, the winners aren't necessarily the fastest, but those whose times are closest to the average.
Join in and cheer them on!
Individuals or teams of two can participate. The minimum age is 16; participants under 18 require parental consent. The Davos Sledgends is for everyone who enjoys speed, winter sports, and an extraordinary racing experience. Costumes are expressly encouraged and add to the atmosphere both on and off the track.
Classic sleds and toboggans are permitted. Steering bobsleds, so-called "butt sleds," and sleds for more than two people are not allowed. If needed, sleds can be reserved in advance at sports shops in Davos. Rentals directly at the Flüela Pass are not possible.
