Coverfestival Davos celebrates a brilliant 10th anniversary

Around 35,000 fans attended the 23 concerts at seven venues last weekend, celebrating cover and tribute bands. Organizers are drawing a positive conclusion from the anniversary edition and are already thinking about the next edition in 2026.
The 10th anniversary of the Davos Cover Festival was celebrated with 23 different concerts in various formats on the mountain and in the valley. On the opening evening, around 1,000 visitors marveled at the "The Beatles Legends" show in the Congress Center. The dinner shows at the AlpenGold Hotel Davos were fully booked, and the newly scheduled unplugged concerts in the Mountain Plaza hotel bar were met with great enthusiasm and very well attended. Despite the snowfall, numerous fans also made their way to the outdoor location "Parsennhütte" for a rocking party. The Bolgen Plaza was also very well attended, as in previous years.
Anniversary festival delights despite cold and a breakdown
The organizers are pleased: Over four days and evenings, 23 concerts took place at seven locations in the ski resort and in Davos' nightlife. What was striking were the variety of concert formats and musical styles that appealed to the tastes of all fans – a goal that was successfully achieved. Yves Bugmann, President of the Organizing Committee from the very beginning, is delighted: "We are delighted that our 10th anniversary edition went off without a hitch, with the exception of a brief power outage on Friday evening. Fortunately, we were able to resolve this quickly thanks to the prompt assistance of our technical partner "Hemmi Sound". Despite the bitterly cold weather at times, fans flocked to our concerts in large numbers."
A look into the future
The organizing committee is already planning the next edition of the Cover Festival Davos, which will take place from Thursday to Sunday, March 26-29, 2026. The first act has already been announced: George Michael will perform at the Davos Congress Center on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
About the Davos Cover Festival
Since 2015, the Davos Cover Festival has been organized by the organizing committee, which consists of members of Destination Davos Klosters and the Davos Klosters Mountains, and is chaired by Yves Bugmann. It brings the best tribute bands (performing one musical act) and cover bands (performing different artists or bands from the same musical genre) to the ski resort and the town of Davos. The concerts – with the exception of the dinner shows and the concert at the Davos Congress Center – are free.
