As long as conditions permit, there's plenty to discover in Davos Klosters in November. The walking trails around Lake Davos and through the side valleys are particularly beautiful right now. However, there may already be snow on higher trails. Therefore, check the current conditions before your trip and choose lower-lying routes if in doubt.
Winter has already begun!
Can't wait for snow? Then it's time to get your cross-country skis out! Thanks to snow farming, the approximately four-kilometer-long cross-country ski trail along the Flüelabach stream in Davos is already open. Snow from the winter is stored and distributed on the trail in autumn – so the first tracks are possible even before the first natural snowfall. Whether you're a beginner or a competitive athlete: the cross-country skiing season starts here. Day and season passes are available online or on-site.
Stay active, even indoors
Even if the sun takes a break, your day of sports doesn't have to be canceled. Whether swimming in the eau-là-là, climbing, or ice skating: you can stay active even away from the mountains. If you prefer something more relaxed, visit one of Davos Klosters' museums and immerse yourself in art, culture, and history.
The countdown is on: only 9 days until the season starts
It won't be long until the first lifts are running again: Parsenn Davos is expected to open for the winter season on Friday, November 13, 2026. Until then, there's still time to enjoy the last days of autumn or get ready for your first turns on the slopes. You can see which lifts and slopes are open in the Lifts and Slopes Report.
