Programme
Visit the Graubünden Mining Museum with its unique crystal and calcite collection. An easy one-hour guided hike along the old Zügenstrasse will take you from the Schmelzboden Mining Museum through the Zügen Gorge to the Davos Wiesen train station. You will learn a lot about the landscape of Davos, its origins, geology, the transport connections since the Middle Ages, the road and railway construction through the Zügen Gorge, living with natural hazards, the adjacent mining, the use of hydropower and much more.

Tuesday, 1.50-5 p.m. / Mining Museum Schmelzboden
Arrival/return
Individual arrival. 01.31 p.m. Train from Davos Platz to Monstein train station (Schmelzboden) - stop on request! Or by car (parking spaces available). Individual return from Davos Wiesen railway station at 5.06 p.m.
Registration fee
With guest card CHF 10.00 per person
Equipment
Solid shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.
Specials
Children from 6 years accompanied by an adult.
Execution
Takes place in all weathers except in thunderstorms and heavy rain.
Insurance
Is the responsibility of the participant.

Required by Thursday, 3 p.m. at the latest online or at one of the guest service centres in Davos or Klosters.
Please bear in mind that your registration is binding. If you are unable to attend, you are obliged to cancel your booking as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail at the Destination Davos Klosters guest service, so that the place can be passed on to other guests.
