Icelandic horse ice tournament
Spectacular and impressive, the Icelandic horses tölt across the smooth ice with flowing manes. On the mirror-smooth surface, these robust horses from the far north demonstrate their skills.
They wear special ice nails and studs on their horseshoes, which act like spikes when walking on ice.
The tournament is accompanied by the charming and charismatic Swiss dialect band CLIO ZERO. These talented musicians have written the official song for the 2025 Icelandic Horse World Championships – and they also perform in Icelandic.
