The Life of Chuck

The world is ending: Germany is swallowed by a volcano, California is sinking into the sea and the Internet is dead. In this chaos, of all people, the accountant Charles “Chuck” Krantz (Tom Hiddleston) is a constant for people. He adorns huge billboards and all television screens that only show Chuck's face and a big thank you for his service. But who is this guy? A mystery that goes back a long way... to his childhood with his grandmother, who passed on her endless love of dancing to him, and his grandfather, who initiated him into the secrets of accounting and wanted to protect him from those of the locked attic. A riddle that raises one question above all: Can the fate of one individual change the entire world?
