Motor Nasch follows the 100-year-old Muscovite Alexandra Konstantinovna and her daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters—six women across four generations. Their life stories span the period from the Russian Revolution to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Drawing on their personal memories, the film creates a nuanced portrait of everyday life under Soviet rule while challenging familiar clichés and stereotypes.
