Programme
This guided visit on Madrisa offers fascinating insights into the world of renewable energy in an alpine environment. After a short walk from the mountain station to the Madrisa Solar facility, you will learn how solar power is produced at an altitude of 2,000 metres and what role the installation plays in operating the mountain railways. On site, we explain the technology, the operation and the special features of alpine solar power production.
To round off the visit, enjoy coffee and cake at the Madrisa-Alp with panoramic views of the Davos mountains – an informative and enjoyable experience combining nature, technology and alpine tourism.

Time/meeting point
Thursday, 1.30 – 4 p.m. / Top station of the Madrisa cable car

Registration fee
With guest card CHF 5.00 per person (excl. cable car ride)

Specials
Children from 14 years.
The cable car ticket is not included in the price. The organisation of the ascent and descent is arranged individually by the guests.

Equipment
Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing.

Execution
Takes place in all weather conditions.

Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

Registration
Required by Wednesday, 12 p.m. at the latest online or at one of the guest service centres in Davos or Klosters.

Please bear in mind that your registration is binding. If you are unable to attend, you are obliged to cancel your booking as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail at the Destination Davos Klosters guest service, so that the place can be passed on to other guests.
