A young musician between dreams and apartheid
Johannesburg, 1968. Khuthala hates his father’s laundry business and has no desire to take over the family firm. However, the apartheid government is cracking down on Black-owned businesses. Khuthala is thus torn between pursuing his own dreams of becoming a musician and fighting the injustice threatening the company—which serves as both the family's sole livelihood and the glue holding them together.
