Berghaus Stafelalp

The StafelAlp was founded by the Walser people approximately 500 years ago. The house is over 250 years old and was converted into an inn in 1936.

As in the past, cooking is still done on a wood stove. However, some modernization has also taken hold. Solar cells generate the electricity for the lights in all rooms.

The StafelAlp is located 1,894 meters above sea level in Davos Frauenkirch.

The mountain inn is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For dinner or special occasions, we are happy to be there at other times by appointment.

The winter hiking trail to the StafelAlp is peaceful and beautiful. The ride down is free on our wooden sleds.

In summer, the biking and hiking paradise of Davos/Klosters beckons.
