2025 is a very special year: 200 years ago, Louis Braille invented Braille. An achievement that gave blind and visually impaired people worldwide access to self-determination, education and culture. There is an interesting and free afternoon for young and old at the local history museum: How can chess, dominoes, dice, Braille with while, Jassen and other games be played when sight is not self-evident? Just try it out. Interactive stations allow you to get to know Braille by poking and reading. Helene Zimmermann, who is blind herself, answers questions and helps visitors to explore her world. A guided tour of the museum of local history takes place at 3 pm.
