Inspired by Andy Warhol's statement: ‘All department stores become museums and all museums become department stores’, established and up-and-coming, mostly Swiss artists exhibit their works in the shop windows provided by retailers. Every year, the city centres of Aarau, Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Neuchâtel, Sion and Zurich are transformed into an open-air gallery day and night for a month. Davos has also been an exhibition venue since 2025. This artistic showcase brings together cultural and economic players and creates a network between the cities.
