Lake Davos offers ideal conditions for windsurfing. With its surface area of around 59 hectares and regular thermal winds, it is particularly suitable for beginners and advanced surfers. The wind conditions are often constant in summer, and the lake is a popular destination for wind sports enthusiasts from June to September. You can either rent equipment at the surf center or book a course directly.

Kitesurfing is a challenging and exciting sport on Lake Davos. The location at over 1500 meters above sea level and the reliable thermal winds in summer create ideal conditions for this sport. Kitesurfers get their money's worth especially from June to September when the wind conditions are stable. However, due to the size of the lake and local rules, kitesurfing is only permitted in certain areas. Beginners can book courses at local kite schools, while experienced kiters can rent or bring their own equipment and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery.
