Short, intensive runs in a compact, versatile and perfectly groomed park - this is what awaits freestylers at the renewed and expanded JatzPark on the Jakobshorn. Space was created to build the lines parallel to the lift. This allows us to offer four lines: one line combined with rails and kickers for beginners and intermediate snowboarders, an intermediate rail and a professional kicker line. With these additions, the beginner, medium and pro lines at Jatzpark offers elements that are suitable for both beginners and professionals.

This Centre on the Jakobshorn, close to the Fuxägufer top station, offers training on the right use of an avalanche victim detection device (LVS) under realistic conditions. The training area contains a 100 x 100 m zone on a steep slope designed to replicate the conditions of a realistic avalanche. Use of the training area is free to all holders of a valid ski pass for the lifts and cable cars. Please note that you should bring your own LVS and avalanche probe. The Centre is open every day during the operating hours of the cable cars and lifts.

The Davos Klosters region is well-known as a fantastic freeriding area. But take care! If you leave the marked pistes, you enter a zone at risk of avalanches. Keep track of the current avalanche situation and get the latest information in advance from the Swiss Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research: www.slf.ch.
What started about 30 years ago, it is an institution today. Who is thinking about Davos and ski huts, there is definitely no way skirting the Jatzhütte, as it is really the original. 1988 Kudi and Barbara Bachmann were way ahead, when they started this adventure with the Jatzhütte. Nowhere else you could find a palm tree on the mountain at that time, sunbeds, whirlpools and parties. Après-ski on 2’530 m elevation was born and the Jatzhütte became famous national and even over the border.
New outfit of the Jatzhütte
Since winter 2016 the Jatzhütte is remodelled and represents a new style. The unique ski hut is completely rebuilt and you will be hooked about the generous, modern, but also rustic and charmy ambience with a lot of wood.
You can already look forward today for drinks, food, whirlpool, DJ’s, dancefloor and a lot of fun – and certainly the legendary Kaffi Sex.
