Davos Nordic Park

Learn cross-country skiing the fun way: Davos Nordic Parc

Davos Nordic Park is a special cross-country skiing course on which you can learn the right techniques with an emphasis on fun. Visitors and locals can learn to ski for free in 12 different stages. A snow grouse as course mascot will be on hand, demonstrating different techniques, including skiing an 8, skiing across a see-saw, jumping, skating and skiing on a mogul trail.

During the FIS Cross-Country Skiing World Cup "Davos Nordic", the organising committee auctioned off various drawings by Thomas Zipfel, a cartoonist, from well-known cross-country skiers. This laid the foundation stone for Davos Nordic Park at the Davos Cross-Country Ski Centre. The park contains twelve different stations, which are available to guests and locals free of charge during the winter season. The focus is on playful technical training.

Operating hours

As soon as the snow conditions permit, the Davos Nordic Park is built up. Throughout the season, the park is maintained mechanically and manually. Estimated operating hours during the winter season 2017/18: approx. 20 December 2017 to 20 March 2018.
