On extended walks, you can explore gushing mountain streams, fascinating mountain lakes and roaring waterfalls.
If you are looking for relaxation, look no further: the Prättigau river landscape with riparian forests along the river Landquart is a unique natural paradise. The long hiking trail along the river Landwasser, the main river in Davos, is also very popular. Many of the larger and smaller mountain streams offer cosy little spots to rest, splash around or picnic in – often, designated picnic and BBQ areas are provided.
A spectacular place to take a break in is the lakeland area Jöriseen around Flüela at 2,533 m.a.s.l. A short walk along the Davos side valley Sertig is also well worth taking: go from Walserhuus to the famous waterfall Sertig, which falls more than 100 metres over three levels.
