What a start! At the Mountain Bike World Cup in Yongpyong, South Korea, Sina Frei left everyone in her dust in the Short Track race, securing a commanding victory. On the technically demanding course, which she had only just familiarized herself with before the race, she impressively demonstrated her composure and race intelligence. The decision came in the final lap when she launched a powerful attack on the climb and defended her lead all the way to the finish.

For the 28-year-old from Zurich, this success is far more than just a win – it's a strong statement to kick off the new season. "I went all in on the last lap," she said after the race, visibly relieved and happy. After a mixed season last year, she has made a clear statement and gained valuable confidence for the upcoming races.
