For several years, the British organization 'Supporting Wounded Veterans' has organized a ski week for veterans in Klosters. Around fifty participants, accompanied by a 'buddy', will be skiing on the slopes of Klosters, Madrisa, and Gotschna from March 9th to 15th. The week is designed for physical and mental rehabilitation. The participants have served in military deployments abroad and find healing and renewed confidence in the mountains. Therefore, they associate the Grisons mountains with very positive emotions.
Additionally, on Friday, March 13th, a conference with discussions and talks featuring high-ranking former military personnel and British politicians will take place at the Arena Klosters as part of 'Supporting Wounded Veterans'. This year's guests include General Sir Nick Carter, former Chief of Defence Staff of the United Kingdom Armed Forces, and Lord Michael Gove, Member of the House of Lords.
