Yoga in a museum? What sounds strange at first glance can harmonise well, as the Kirchner Museum Davos shows. Every Tuesday morning in May, this special happening starts at 9.45 am. First, during a short introduction, a work of art from the exhibition is presented. Inspired by this, the yoga class starts afterwards. To ensure that all safety and distance measures are observed, registration is required by the day before. Admission including yoga costs CHF 35 per person. If you are interested, please register directly by e-mail at email@example.com.
Inspired by art
The idea, by the way, is no coincidence: body and energy are currently playing a central role in the Kirchner Museum Davos. The current exhibition features works by Martin Disler and Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Both artists have dealt intensively with the human body and created impressive works of art about it. Martin Disler's bronze sculptures from the group of works "Skinning and Dance" or Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's "Acrobatic Couple" explore the limits of the human body and show it in almost impossible positions.
