Successful film premiere at Cycle Week in Zurich

Tom Oehler presented his latest bike film ‘Bike Harder’ at ‘Cycle Week’ in Zurich. The ‘Red Bull’ athlete and two-time world record holder is a bike ambassador for the destination Davos Klosters.

Last week, Zurich celebrated bikes during Cycle Week. The Destination Davos Klosters and Austrian bike star Tom Oehler also had reason to celebrate: around 500 people attended the film premiere of the new bike film ‘Bike Harder’ on Friday evening, 24 May at 6 pm. Around the film premiere, Tom Oehler signed autographs and put on a trial show on his bike. The ‘Red Bull’ athlete is, alongside professional biker Sina Frei, a bike ambassador for the destination Davos Klosters. The latter can also be seen in a small supporting role in the film.

A touch of Hollywood
The title of the film is an allusion to the Hollywood blockbuster series ‘Die Hard’, which became known in English as ‘Die Hard’. It also features the same dubbing voice as in the cult film series, including the cult slogan ‘Yippie-Ya-Yay, pig cheek!’. ‘We are competing with destinations in the Alpine region that have considerably larger advertising budgets. Creative approaches are needed to attract attention,’ says Samuel Rosenast, Head of Communications at Destination Davos Klosters. The voice belongs to Manfred Lehmann. The German dubbing artist has already dubbed numerous film stars, including Bruce Willis, Gérard Depardieu and Kurt Russell.
