Camping right by the lake, as you know it from Instagram photos with the hashtag #vanlife? Possible this summer in Davos. And that, completely legally. The municipality of Davos has launched a pilot project with three temporary camping sites this summer. A total of 75 new pitches have been approved. These are reserved for motorhomes and minibuses. In addition to the Davosersee with 25 pitches, there are further camping possibilities on the Pischa cable car car parks (40 pitches) and another ten pitches behind the Tschuggen restaurant in the Flüela valley.
Bookable online in the holiday shop from 19 to 31 October.
The length of stay is limited in each case. A maximum of three nights can be spent at the Pischa cable car and at Lake Davos, only one night is allowed at the Tschuggen site. This is for infrastructural reasons. WC facilities are available at all sites, but there are no electricity connections. If the pilot project is successful, these will follow in 2022. The sites can be booked online in the holiday shop from 19 June to 31 October 2021. Camping guests also benefit from the advantages of the Premium Card. Good to know: Wild camping is not allowed in Davos Klosters. The municipal police issue fines and carry out regular checks.
