A slight tug on the arms - and suddenly there is a powerful jolt that catapults the wakeboarder into the water. It splashes and claps. Fell in. After a few metres, the first ride for beginners is already over. Everyday life at ordinary wakeboard facilities. Not so at Lake Davos. With a 190-metre-long riding area, the facility at Wakeweeks Davos is not only one of the longest water ski lifts in operation.
Wakeboard season runs until 11 September
The special feature is an ingenious two-mast system: the constant upward pull of the rope makes riding easier. And what beginners and pros alike appreciate: There is only one rider on the water at a time and the lift operator can adjust the speed individually to the rider's ability. Anyone who now feels like wakeboarding on Lake Davos has the opportunity to do so for two months: The season runs from Monday, 21 June to 11 September 2021.
Tip for overnight guests
By the way: wakeboarding is one of over 60 activities in our summer guest programme. The programme lasts until October. In total, that's over 700 experiences throughout the summer. The individual experiences can be booked two weeks in advance at the guest advisory service on site or online from our holiday shop.
