During the Spengler Cup, Reto Branschi, CEO/Director of the Destination Davos Klosters, and Sina Frei signed a contract extension for another year. The tourism destination thus becomes the new main partner of the professional biker. “I am very pleased that we can expand our cooperation,” says Sina Frei. For her, the destination Davos Klosters has long since become a second home. She also comes up here regularly in winter. Most recently for cross-country skiing over the festive season, as she shows on her Instagram channel. Reto Branschi is also pleased: “We are incredibly proud to have such a great personality as a bike ambassador in Sina.”
Davos Klosters as a training base and place of strength
Sina Frei (1997) is a Swiss professional mountain biker. She has been racing with the elite since 2019. In 2021, she celebrated great successes very early in her young career: silver at the Tokyo Olympics, gold, and bronze at the UCI World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy, as well as overall victory at the Cape Epic in South Africa together with her team partner Laura Stigger. Sina Frei has been an ambassador for the Davos Klosters destination since the beginning of June 2021. She uses the single trail paradise of the Alps as a training base and a place of strength to recover between competitions. The first race of the new biking season will take place for Sina Frei at the beginning of May in Valkenburg, the Netherlands.
