“Davos 1917” celebrates world premiere at the Zurich Film Festival

The historical espionage series “Davos 1917” will celebrate its world premiere at the “Zurich Film Festival” on 6 October. The series takes viewers on a journey into the secrets of the First World War and international espionage – in the middle of Davos.

1917: The First World War devastates Europe. In contrast, Davos seems like an oasis of peace. But in reality, an agent war of the world powers is raging behind the scenes in neutral Switzerland. Inspired by true events, “Davos 1917” tells the fictional story of Johanna Gabathuler, a nurse from Graubünden who unexpectedly finds herself caught between the fronts of the spies operating in secret. To win back her illegitimate daughter, she gets involved in a deadly game with the German Secret Service – and suddenly becomes the tipping point in a risky plan that decides between war and peace.
