Après-Nordic Lounge opens at the Cross-Country Ski Centre

The «Cross-Country Ski Centre Dario Cologna» in Davos starts the winter season with a new concept. Our tip for pleasure skiers: cross-country skiing on the Heart Trail with a stop at the Après-Nordic Lounge.

The Dario Cologna Cross-Country Ski Centre is delighting locals and guests this cross-country season, with an Après-Nordic Lounge. The newly designed indoor area and terrace enriches the cross-country ski centre with lounge sofas, fur rugs, warm light, furniture made of natural wood and background music. The menu now includes non-alcoholic beverages as well as cocktails created in-house, such as «Nordic Mule», «Speed Wax», «Pole Position» and «Frozen Spritz». The lounge - like all publicly accessible rooms in the cross-country ski centre - is open daily from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

A stopover for pleasure skiers
Our tip: If you glide along the two-kilometre Herzloipe trail directly in front of the cross-country skiing centre in Davos, you will do more than just recharge your batteries on the flat and sunny trail. After their endurance sport, pleasure skiers can now relax in the new lounge terrace. The short circular route is particularly suitable for returning skiers, beginners and all those who want to slowly increase their fitness. A detour to Après Nordic is offered on other routes in Davos: for example, after cross-country skiing on the nearby FIS World Cup course, Davos Nordic. In addition to the restaurant and lounge, the cross-country ski centre offers a waxing room and checkrooms.

Free cross-country skiing in Davos Klosters
Incidentally, the cross-country skiing network in Davos Klosters includes over 100 kilometres of classic trails and 75 kilometres of skating trails of all levels of difficulty. These can all be used free of charge. Up-to-date details about the open trails can be found in the trail report on the website, as well as in our buddy app. And - who knows: With a bit of luck, you might meet Dario Cologna on the trail. Even after his retirement, Cologna still regularly makes his rounds in Davos Klosters.
