Klosters serves up a nostalgic treat

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, Klosters turns back the clock, but turns up the enjoyment. From 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Brügga Quarter celebrates with regional delicacies, traditional crafts, and music. The costume contest will also have a new look this year.
At the twelfth annual Nostalgic Culinary Mile, the long table once again stretches from the Bardill sports shop to the Hotel Wynegg. To the right and left, there will be cooking, hammering, blacksmithing, and music. While the suckling pig roasts on the spit, locksmiths and nailers will demonstrate their skills, and at the Malans charcoal kiln, the smoke will be thick and smoky. Admission is free, leaving more money for sampling the local delicacies.
Anyone dressed up in a sartorial, traditional costume, or other nostalgic outfit can have their picture taken at the photo booth between noon and 4 p.m. and be entered into the costume contest. New this year, the best costumes will be awarded at 4 p.m., right in the heart of the Culinary Mile.
For 40 francs, you can purchase a Culinary Pass, which includes four 10-franc food vouchers. Also new this year: a drink token. Passes are available at the Wynegg and Bardill entrances.
The Culinary Mile concludes at 9 p.m. Those who want to continue the party should head to the Silvretta tent. Makossa will be playing there until 2 a.m.
So: come hungry, find an old hat, and take a seat at the long table.
