Insiders know: The SONGBIRD concert on the last Friday of the festival at Tommy Montana's Montana Hall is traditionally an energetic reggae concert.
This year featuring reggae and dancehall queen SAMORA and her eight-piece band.
The Bernese artist, with roots in the South American Caribbean, won the prestigious Caribbean Music Award for "Best New Reggae Artist" in New York two years ago and is considered one of the rising stars of the Afro-Caribbean music scene. Her music draws on Afro-Caribbean rhythms, modern dancehall, and, of course, reggae.
