Ma Mère, Dieu et Sylvie Vartan

Based on a true story. In 1963, Esther gives birth to her son Roland – the youngest child in a large family. Roland is born with a club foot and cannot stand or walk. Against all doubts and advice, Esther vows that her son will one day walk and lead a fabulous life. From that moment on, she does everything she can to make her promise come true. The film tells a true, moving and at the same time humorous story – about an extraordinary fate and the strongest love there is: that of a mother for her child.
