The municipality of Küblis (814 m above sea level) is located in the Prättigau, just before the holiday destination of Davos Klosters. Küblis is a small but beautiful village which offers guests the best conditions for peace and relaxation. The old village centre is still home to some original farmhouses and manor houses. These and the church with its famous stained glass windows are therefore among the highlights on the stage of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. Thanks to its central location in the middle of the Prättigau, the major tourist centres of Klosters and Davos can be reached quickly and easily from Küblis, as can the nature areas and mountain worlds around St. Antönien on one side of the valley and the Fideriser Heuberge on the other.
In summer, the bike trail between Landquart, Klosters and Davos leads through Küblis. Hikers are sure to enjoy the many trails and routes in the valley and up on the mountain, e.g. towards St. Antöniertal. The local recreational area “Tuss” along the Landquart river or a hike to Lake Plävingersee are perfect for day out for both young and old. Climbers and mountaineers can pursue their hobby in the climbing hall in Küblis or on the spectacular climbing trail Sulzfluh.
In winter, the legendary Parsenn downhill run finishes in Küblis. This is one of the true skiing classic of the Alps. The ski slope starts on Weissfluh Summit (2844 m above sea level) and ends after 12 kilometres at 2000 m above sea level in Küblis.
