Pöstli Club

Davos is simply known as the party town of the Alps. Over 40 bars and clubs light up the region for night lovers. In the happening Pöstli Club, clubbers abandon their cool and dance to Abba and Led Zeppelin. A success story.

In recent years the Pöstli Club in Hotel Morosani has become a jewel in the party town of Davos.  As such, no club in Davos boasts queues to its doors in the high season quite as long as those outside the Pöstli. Here, locals party alongside international holiday-makers. At weekends the best parties are usually found here.

The Pöstli Club is one of the most happening spots in the party town of Davos.
From Abba to Led Zeppelin

Early on it was mainly DJs from Zurich at the turntables. Nowadays, club manager Seigi Sterkoudis predominantly employs local DJs, who play classics from Abba to Led Zeppelin. Après ski music is out of place here - like the visitors who come directly from the piste in their skiwear. The bouncers admit no one under 23 years of age and place value on a well-dressed clientèle.

Celebs also frequent the Club

The club is also regularly visited by celebrities, who mingle amongst uncomplicated people. The players of the local Davos hockey club are regulars, alongside football pros and other sports personalities. Additionally numerous artists frequent the club; for example the musicians from the band the "Toten Hosen" have been spotted here in the past. And the best thing: Thanks to the holiday mood, in the Pöstli Club, all abandon their cool and dance into the early hours. The club is open all through the winter season, and on selected dates in the summer.

It's right in the centre and everything revolves around it. It's not right in the centre of the village, but at the very heart of Davos nightlife. And it's been that way since 1965 - a tradition that keeps its promises.

The legendary "Ex Bar" in Davos is a unique success story: it's already rocking from 17.00 - when other bar operators are still serving afternoon tea. Tourists and locals plan their nights-out in the "Ex", often staying there longer than planned or returning later in the evening to bring the evening to a close there.

The atmosphere is always great in the Ex Bar - the DJs and live acts make sure of that!
Fun until the early hours of the morning

You'll find a long list of great drinks, DJ entertainment, a table-football table and warm food until the early hours of the morning in the Ex Bar. It shuts at 5.00 in the morning from Tuesdays to Thursday and stays open until 6.00 on Fridays and Saturdays - perfect timing for popping into the nearest baker to pick up some freshly-baked croissants on the way home...

Lively clientele, diverse music

The music in the "Ex" is very diverse - from rock to country, there something for everyone. The main thing is to keep the clientele entertained - and the bar is always full of a lively bunch of people always ready for a good night out. It is the perfect place for getting to know new people - mainly because the bar is always jam-packed full and you end up sitting or standing close up to other people. A classic night-out that never goes out of fashion.

In 1993 the Bolgenschanze opened as the first snowboard hotel in Europe. Over the years, the place grew into a cult bar with associated hotel. And this has its advantages: After a long party night in the "Schanze" it's not so far to bed.

Be it a unique motto party, internationally renowned DJs or live music: In the legendary Bolgenschanze, the place is jumping. The cult bar is one of the trendiest bars in Davos and is renowned far beyond the national borders.. Here, freestyle lifestyle in place of suit and tie are the order of the day. Legends, myths and sayings are naturally also part of Bolgenschanze. With good reason: It is simply the snowboard bar, the mother of all temptations, the epitome of many teenage dreams.

The predominantly young guests dance in the Bolgenschanze into the early hours of the morning.
The Bolgenschanze is also a hotel

In addition to its location close to the train station and at the Jakobshorn station, the party guests also enjoy the purposefully equipped twin and multi-bed rooms with their art nouveau atmosphere. Free wireless LAN and Playstations are both included.

Piano Bar Tonic in the hotel Europe

This is where during the Annual Meeting the „who is who“ from economy and showbiz gathers and with a little luck Kevin Spacey sings a goodbye serenade for you. Not only does the Piano Bar Tonic pose “the place to be” during the World Economic Forum but it is also a „must-go“ for locals and guests.

From December to April, our top pianists daily create a great atmosphere and sweep the audience off their feet with their entertaining qualities. Some of our pianists have remained loyal to us for more than 20 years and they are true masters of their profession. Our musicians have a widely varied repertory in stock, ranging from evergreens to the latest pop songs, something for everybody’s taste.

The bar is timelessly elegant, characterised by stylistic elements and has enjoyed cult status in Davos for more than 30 years. Smokers find a cosy Smokers-Lounge adjacent to the bar.

Casa Antica

The time-honoured Dancing Casa Antica has been at the centre of Klosters night life since 1959. Generations of guests have partied here and celebrated the charm of the holiday resort. Past guests have included the British princes Harry and William.

There are bars that have made an indelible mark on the history of classic holiday destinations and cities. Harry’s Bar in Venice, the first Hard Rock Café in London and the Dracula Club in St. Moritz for example. In Klosters there are two such institutions. Alongside Chesa Bar, where 1950s American stars of stage, screen and literature danced on the tables, is the Casa Antica - a night time meeting point at the resort since 1959.

Style, charm and british understatement

Generations of - in the earlier days in particular American and British - guests have met up during the winter season at this disco bar. Here they have partied, the bon vivants of the stylish 1950s, the wild 1960s and the funky 1970s. At that time even more than nowadays, winter holiday destinations promised to act as hide-aways, far removed from urban civilisation. Entirely without Facebook, iPhone and Youtube. Instead with great style and class.

And today it remains a cosmopolitan classic

Today, Casa Antica continues to play host to numerous international guests. The club is also popular amongst holiday guests from Zurich, as well as the locals. A cosmopolitan classic indeed, which is always worth a visit. During the week the "Casa" tends to be more of a classic bar. At the weekends renowned DJs bring the dance floor to life in style. Guests from 21 years of age are welcome daily from mid December until Easter, from 22:00 hrs. Casa Antica is closed in the summer.
