Information summer season & Covid-19

Current situation

Dear guests, dear locals

Switzerland is slowly returning to normality. The Federal Council has now decided to end the "extraordinary situation" on 19 June. As early as 6 June, all establishments that are still closed today will be allowed to reopen, including mountain railways, campsites, open-air swimming pools and zoos. Events with up to 300 people will also be permitted again from 6 June, while meetings with up to 30 people will be permitted from 30 May.

Why are events cancelled?

This is due to the national ban by the federal government: At the moment, it is forbidden to hold any event anywhere in Switzerland.

When will events take place again?

Events with up to 300 people are permitted again from 6 June, meetings with up to 30 people from 30 May. Large events with more than 1000 people will remain prohibited until the end of August 2020. On our events page we will keep you informed about which events can be held and which are cancelled or postponed. In principle, we work with the organisers to find solutions for holding the events - in strict compliance with the conditions.

What else needs to be considered?

1. keep your distance from other people Wear a mask if you cannot keep your distance. And, if possible, work in the home office.
2. wash your hands thoroughly. Several times a day.
3. Avoid shaking hands.
4. Cough or sneeze into a handkerchief or the crook of your arm.
5. Stay home if you have a fever or cough.
6. In case of suspicion: Consult a doctor's office or emergency room only after making an appointment by telephone.
